The general election was held on November 2nd, 2010 .
Two of the Districts that were up for election were retained by the previous Supervisors unopposed, and District 4 a new supervisor is named.
These districts included:
Retained:
District 2 -- Perch Lake, City of Cloquet/Scanlon, Sawyer, Thomson, 1/2 of Progress townships, won by
James Nynas
District 3 -- Atkinson, Twin Lakes, Silver Brook, Mahtowa townships, won by Hubert M. Loy
Changed:
District 4 -- Automba, Kalevala, Skelton, Split Rock, Silver and Moose Lake townships, won by
Pam Coughlin Hall
(Replacing Kim Samuelson who we would like to thank for all of her time, effort and for being a great supervisor)
Not up for Election:
District 1 -- Beseman, Corona, Red Clover, Lakeview, Eagle, and the West Half of Progress townships by Barbara Dahl.
District 5 -- Blackhoof, Wrenshall, Barnum, Clear Creek and Holyoke townships by Mark Thell
SWCD Supervisors serve four year terms.
