Conservation Practices in the Nemadji River Watershed
The following is a short photo tour of some conservation practices implemented in the Nemadji River watershed in the past.

| Before: The County was putting 30 cubic yards/month of fill at this site on County Road 8 due to slumping. | After: The Carlton County Highway Department, DNR and the Carlton County SWCD worked collaboratively to restore the site. |

| Before: Clear Creek, located in the southern portion of the Nemadji River Watershed. | After: Clear Creek (same location) after installing a livestock exclusion fence and seeding the area. |

| Several acres of trees have been planted in areas throughout the watershed, including this site in Hunter's Creek Subwatershed. |
